Change

Today we are not happy. Can you tell who we voted for? I thought this picture of Johnny is his Halloween costume might give it away.

Let's hope America is really ready for the upcoming changes.

You're there! And yes, we're not happy here either. We are however, grateful for Prop. 8.

We feel your pain...but we are excited over prop 8. Dad and I worked on one of the phone banks our ward was running for several hours yesterday to get out the votes. Even though the TV won't declaire it a win yet, with 95% of the vote in we lead 52 to 48 percent.....YEAH... We stayed up much of the night watching the polling news.

All these weeks that we have worked so hard on this, as have most of the church members in CA.(except Steve Youngs wife!!!) I was afraid that it would not pass. We have been terribly ridiculed and debased by the press and media.
I think winning is a miracle and shows that good can over come evil with God's help and our effort.

The No on 8 group are already saying that they will take it to court....I guess that the fight isn't over but for now we feel good and are thankful.

So, our happiness about 8 is easing our disappointment about Obama. The only good thing about watching the news today is seeing how very happy so many of our black americans are. I fear for our future with Obama but I have to say that I am happy for our black brother and sister Americans who are so happy and hopeful. I hope that all will go better for America than we think it will.

It was so good to see you in Kentucky. You are a wonderful daughter and I love you very much. Mom

What an awesome costume!!! A little nervous about the election results, but excited for my kids to witness a historic day. Happy for the vote in Ca.
Loved the voter turnout! So exciting to see all the people involved in the future of this country! Who knows what the future holds! So thankful for the church in our lives! Lisa J.

I woke up this morning feeling sick to my stomach... I realized it was because all night I had been having nightmares about Obama winning. Sigh...

How about we vote for Johnny 2012? He's got my vote!!

Awesome costume! I too am not looking forward to the next 4-8 years. Big govt. is not a good thing in my book but I guess the masses have spoken. Just in case I will get my "don't blame me I voted for the other guy" bumper sticker ready!

Lynell,

Thanks for spreading the word about my blog. I was excited to see your comment as well as Tricia's. As for your question, I hate the flu shot. I honestly believe it gives more people the flu than it prevents. I don't have hard numbers at this point but I am searching and might make that the subject of my blog or radio show in the future. Thanks for the idea. Also, if you want to know what I do with my family ask Lily about Oscillo. That is our flu defense. We have it on hand when we travel and at home, the quickest way to knock out the flu before it takes hold of you.

If you get the chance listen to me flap my jaws on Vitality Radio Saturdays on 1280AM. You can also hear it streaming live on 1280thezone.com. I am on at noon This week but 9:00 AM most weeks. Thanks again for the publicity and also for the beautiful photos. They are amazing and worth well more than we paid you. I will refer people your way whenever I get a chance.

Thanks,

Jared

Love the costume my friend!! We're in mourning too. Who knows, maybe Obama can turn this mess around. All we can do now is be hopeful.

Great costume! I may not be American but I, too, was greatly disappointed in the election outcome. I am praying now that Obama will be a good leader. The President of the US is not just a leader for the US, but for the world.

We are disappointed TOOOOOO!
Strangely, Craig and I awakened Wed. filled with PEACE. I don't like to look at Obama...which I try not to...but I still am grateful for the peace.. maybe it's just because of Prop 8.
Meanwhile we are working on our emergency preparedness.
