Smile Ü

A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give. ~Author Unknown

Well it has finally happened. We have been waiting for years, almost 4 years to be exact. But let me tell you, some things sure are worth waiting for. Justin finally got his braces off. He was one good look'n kid before. But now when he smiles......Oh baby!

before

after

His braces may have cost us a pretty penny but

A smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks. ~Charles Gordy

WOW he does look great! Those poor girls don't have a chance!

I remember getting my braces on in 9th grade and off just before Sr. year pics! My BIGGEST regret is not wearing my retainer like I should have. I hated the way it gave me a speech impediment so I never wore them during the day. UGH. Don't make that same mistake Justin!

Kelcey was just asking the other day - (in a very subtle way) - if I had gotten Justin's cell phone number. He looks fab & his teath look really good also, according to my two teenager daughters!
What a heartbreaker! I will have to call when I get to UT at the end of this month & get his cell phone - Kelcey is a text-aholic! Drive's me NUTS! Lisa

How handsome is he??? Was it really 4 years? Holy cow. That is a long time.

Sorry I've been out of the blogging world lately - so consumed with life. I'm so glad you got to see Emma today! Wish we were all there!

That is one very handsome lad you have there, but I think he was with braces as well. You have such a wonderful family so blessed with good looks, but even more important than that you have a family with values and meaning in their lives. That is priceless. I thank you for sharing it with us and blessing us too! (seriously though if I was a teenage girl, I'd be developing a new crush!)

Even though they are expensive, they are the best investment!! I am so grateful my parents forked out the $$ for my braces when I was young. What a difference it made in my life. Lookin great Justin!

He is a Babe! I bet the girls are standing in line for him! What a great smile! It is so true that a smile can change everything! Have you ever met someone who was beautiful but never smiled they become more and more un-attractive because they choose not to smile! I love all your quotes!

What a gorgeous smile.
What a cutie.
You may have to lock him in a closet and not let him out until he is nineteen.
Seriously.
